Meet the Founder
Get to know the face behind our agency.
The Social Draft was founded in January 2026 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, by Lauren. After several years of creating content for brands, ranging from user-generated content and ads, to raw photos and videos, plus countless late nights editing, Lauren knew it was time to turn her passion into something official.
The idea of starting her own business had been on her mind for over a decade. She studied small business management and entrepreneurship at the University of Manitoba and later earned a certificate from Harvard Business School, yet it always felt like the timing wasn’t quite “right”.
Fast forward to the beginning of 2026: after enduring one of the toughest years of her life, she realized there was no better moment than now.
Social media management and user-generated content had been sitting on the back burner since 2019, and it was time to bring them front and centre. To make this joruney even more exciting, Lauren is also a bride-to-be, which has sparked a special interest in wedding content creation.
She is excited to see where the Social Draft goes and looks forward to connecting and creating along the way.
